Adbikes, Advans and Adscooters - effective outdoor advertising solutions.
Hi,
Welcome to our Q1 newsletter. We wanted to take this opportunity to highlight some of the campaigns we carried out over the last few months on our Promovans, Promobikes and Promoscooters. Our previous newsletter showcased the Digital vehicles, demonstrating the range and flexibility they offer.
The advertising vehicles continue to play an important part in many marketing campaigns. Their ability to build awareness on a local level and engage with the target audience makes them a highly effective outdoor advertising option.
Promogroup offer the widest range of advertising vehicles (digital and non-digital) in the market place. Posters will be installed on our own Promovehicles, operating from our nationwide depots, manned by our own employees. We continually update our fleet providing clients and agencies with newest and most effective vehicles in the market place, all of course comprehensively insured with full risk assessment and GPS/sat nav tracking on board..
If you think our services are relevant to you, any of your colleagues or you have any campaigns on the horizon, then please pass on the contact details and we would be delighted to hear from you.
Kind regards,
From all at Promogroup.

Backlit Promovans
|
| |
One of the world's largest ferry operators Stena Line opened a new £200m port facility in Cairnryan, Scotland, and closed the 150 year old Port of Stranraer. Two new (refurbished) ferries were brought onto the new route.
Stenaline opted for two backlit Promovans working along each of the two main arteries the A77 and A75 to Stranraer/Cairnryan from Carlisle and Kilmarnock. They spent each morning visiting one of the towns en route and the afternoons positioned on the side of the main roads, with the posters lit up they proved to be very eye-catching for all traffic going to and from the ports.

Backlit Promovans
|

Another busy year for the supermarket as competition proved to be as fierce as ever and cost cutting seemed to be the theme. Asda continued to promote their local stores using backlit Promovans to keep their message and brand ever present in front of consumers.
Asda rebranded many of the old Netto stores and again saw the Promovan as an ideal medium to build its presence on a local level.

Promobikes

Illy wanted to get city workers into its innovative pop up Gallery illustrating the values of the brand as well as showcasing new artists!
Promobikes were the perfect solution. The London based Promobikes are in their element navigating the busy streets of the Square Mile. Promobike riders stood next to the artistic, eye catching posters, handing out leaflets and directing people into the gallery.
The event was, dare we say it, perhaps too much of a success, with people queuing to get in. Luckily their patience was rewarded with a free coffee from the Illy Cafe!

The Police Federation is the national organization representing 124,000 police officers from the ranks of Constable, Sergeant, Inspector and Chief inspectors.
The police objective was to target key meetings in and around Whitehall to reinforce the commitment Theresa May Home Secretary made in 2010 to always support and fight for the best interests of the Police Force. They were able to achieve this using a combination of two Promovans and two Digital Promovans ensuring those who attended remembered that commitment.

Promovans & Promobikes
|

It is great news to see the return of advertising in the construction industry. Since the recession started in 2008 this sector has not had a great deal too shout about. However 2011 saw Barratt Homes advertising appearing again on Promovans and Promobikes around the country to promote the sale of units in new developments.

When you’ve lowered 1000’s of prices, you need everyone to know about it. Bugdens chose Promobikes to spread the message to the people of Rye.
The pedal powered Promobike was a good choice for this ancient town and negotiated the cobbled streets with ease. The posters clearly communicated Budgens campaign and the flexibility of using a moving advert meant every corner of Rye was covered.

'Pensions, pensions, pensions’ seemed to be an other area that occupied our column inches in the press, on TV and on the streets. Promogroup helped the Public Sector Union take their message to the people of the East Midlands in October and November. A tight schedule saw the Promovan visit 2-3 towns/cities per day as the van was used for photo shoots and opportunities in each area.

JJB were opening several new stores and wanted to both announce these as well as drive new customers through the doors. The Promobikes targeted busy central shopping areas to entice shoppers with a £10 off special offer.
By appealing to shoppers already in city centres, JJB ensured their campaign was a cost effective and targeted one and could see the real value of their adspend as people started to filter through the doors!
