Promogroup was asked by the Welsh Assembly to develop two LED Countdown Clocks. The first was to be static and situated in a strategic high footfall position in the centre of Cardiff. The chosen building was ‘The Old Library' in the Hayes, where the clock will sit on the roof of the glass building.

The second clock was fixed to the side of a PromoVan, synchronised with the static clock and dispatched on a 60-day road show tour of the main councils and urban areas throughout Wales. The PromoVan will distribute merchandise and T-shirts throughout its journey over the next two months.

At 9am on Friday 2nd February, the Health Minister, Dr Brian Gibbons took part in a photo shoot in front of the clock and the countdown was then initiated. This will run continuously until 00.00.00 at 6am on April 2nd 2007. 1174566246_picture2_walogoa
