Case Study

Client: Edinburgh Trams
Period: October to December 2006
Locations: Edinburgh
Product Solutions: PromoVan
With the new tram system soon to open in Edinburgh, Promogroup found itself driving a PromoVan around the heart of Edinburgh over a three month period, from October to December 2006. For three days per week (Friday - Sunday), the PromoVan would follow the intended route of the new tram service; stopping frequently at the newly designated stations, to educate the public as to the potential of the new service. 1174566281_picture1_edinburghtrama

The main section for maximum visibility was to be the stretch from Haymarket to Ocean Drive. The PromoVan travelled a ‘figure of 8' route from Haymarket out to Edinburgh Park via Dalry Road, Gorgie Road, Stenhouse Road, Calder Road, Broomhouse Road, circulated round Edinburgh Park itself, before heading back into the via St John's Road and Corstorphine Road and back to Haymarket.

Areas that the van was to park up in included: Edinburgh Park/Gyle Shopping Centre (at busy periods)
Murrayfield (near stadium). 1174566281_picture2_etlogoa
