As 2012 is now well and truly under way, Promogroup would like to thank you for your business over the last 12 months and show you some of the exciting products we can offer your clients this year.

Below you will find some examples of campaigns carried out last year on our digital vehicles, which will hopefully demonstrate the range and flexibility of Promogroup’s promotional products. As well as the digital vehicles, all our non-digital vehicles such as Promovans, bikes & scooters can be seen on the website.

Promogroup have shown their power of delivery by successfully executing campaigns for both the private and public sectors as well as agencies and clients alike.

Promogroup continue to lead the way by offering the widest range of advertising vehicles (both digital and non-digital) in the market place. We are a media owner and not an agency or broker who farms out your campaigns. Posters will be installed on our own Promovehicles, operating from our nationwide depots, manned by our own employees. We continually update our fleet providing clients and agencies with newest and most effective vehicles in the market place, all of course comprehensively insured with full risk assessment and GPS/sat nav tracking on board.

 Asda is just one of many retailers now really starting to reap the advantages of advertising on Promogroup's fleet of digital advans. There are of course the practical benefits of savings accrued from the lack of print costs, as well as being able to supply the artwork on the day before the campaign.
However, when the vans hit the streets they come into their own and Asda used this to full effect! Cleverly attracting attention by use of audio, Asda then had a range of visuals showing new stores and price offers which certainly made the passerby swing round to have a look! With a screen on all 3 sides of the vans, Asda was able to catch people regardless of the route they took.

 Summertime saw sickening scenes on the streets of London and other provincial cities as rioting broke out.
The Metropolitan Police called upon the services of Promogroup and our fleet of digital advans to help playout thousands of CCTV images across all the main boroughs affected. Promodigital Vans operated across areas such as Tottenham, Croydon, Tower Hamlets and Clapham as police utilized every modern technique possible to catch the perpetrators. Gone are the days of dodgy photofits – the effect of this campaign was dramatic – local people looking at large, clear images of other locals committing crimes.
Four vans over a six week period were on call on a daily basis to any borough to work in the high Street alongside Police officers. This also allowed Police to demonstrate the massive effort being made to target these criminals. Content was changed on a daily basis as arrests were made and the images refreshed. All this was possible due to the flexibility and creative potential of the digital advans.

 Gone are the days when hair removal was talked about in hushed tones. Reckitt Benckiser promoted Veet loud and clear to women on the streets of the UK from Glasgow to London.
Veet is already the hair removal product of choice for 30 million women around the world. However, not one to rest on their laurels, Veet showed true innovation, spreading the word on the wonders of their product by playing a demo of a wax on the Promodigital bikes! Teams of promotional staff backed up the message by waxing the braver members of the public as they walked past!
The ‘roadshow’ style promotion visited nine cities from Glasgow to London. A great campaign, well thought out, innovative and fun, all combining to make a massive impression!

 Fancy 10% off your summer holiday? Gets your attention doesn’t it!  It’s just a matter of getting it in front of potential customers and this is where Promodigital vans and bikes come into their own! Virgin Holidays used the digivans and digibike combo to spread the word on this and other deals they were offering.
The ability to screen many different messages on one day also allowed Virgin Holidays to direct the public into their concession areas, now in department stores such as Debenhams. The digital bikes were able to park right on the high streets and outside the major transport hubs, as the screens on the bikes played the promotional content.

 Bucking current market conditions, Argos continued to open stores in the UK in 2011.
Promodigital vans announced the arrival of new Argos stores in local neighbourhoods from Belfast to Northampton, Liverpool to Bristol.
A combination of rotating slides and audio coupled with the brightness and clarity of the screens really added a contemporary feel to their advertising campaign.

 As the Christmas festivities got under way and the pubs and clubs were even busier than usual, Lambeth council wanted to encourage revellers to show vigilance and responsibility.
Promodigital vans targeted partygoers throughout the borough at night. The bright, clear screens lit up the streets making sure even the merriest of people got the message.

 The Police Federation is the national organization representing 124,000 police officers from the ranks of Constable, Sergeant, Inspector and Chief inspectors.
The police objective was to target key meetings in and around Whitehall to reinforce the commitment Theresa May Home Secretary made in 2010, to always support and fight for the best interests of the Police Force. They were able to achieve this using a combination of two Promovans and two Digital Promovans ensuring those who attended remembered that commitment.

Coopers saw the value that the digital adbikes could offer as a marketing tool. The branded bikes could be parked up on University grounds near the student unions and various faculties.

The digital screen allowed a short video to play highlighting the opportunities at PWC for graduates, as the rider handed out marketing material to enhance the interactive experience.

The Promodigital bike went on a 'roadshow' style campaign for the week visiting Universities in Cardiff, Oxford, Cambridge, Lancaster & York.

Wilkinson open their new store in Harrow

Wilkinson wanted to appeal to a younger more technophile audience and felt the digital advans would have a strong synergy with this key demographic.

The van targeted the public in and around the Harrow area. To reinforce the digital content, the client branded some of the digital advans surface around the screens and cab.

 Football clubs adopt the digital vans to promote their businesses

Both these North London clubs harnessed the power of the digital advans as a promotional tool.

Arsenal used the vans at Twickenham to target a corporate market for future  international games to be played at the Emirates.

Their close rival Spurs joined a parade in North London that made its way through the Tottenham heartland, reaching out to its main fan base.

Nido target open days

Nido the largest provider of high end student accommodation in London wanted to target students who arrived pre-term on open days at several University campuses around London.

The Universities included London Metropolitan University, Imperial College, LSE and City University.

"Promogroup exceeded our expectation by utilising a digital adbike which conquered the streets of London in the summer.  The staff were really professional, friendly and very interactive with the audience, giving us a massive 120 entrants to the competition in only 7 days".

Public  Sector  keep using  the Digital Vans despite cuts

Despite cuts in the Public sector spending budget, the digital advans remain a highly effective, popular and utilised medium.

Recent campaigns at the end of 2010 include police forces such as Cambridgeshire and Gwent Police, councils like Northampton and Westminster Council and NHS Trusts such as Northampton. All used the digital advans to drive home their respective messages in towns and cities across the UK.

Charities recognise the appeal of Digital Advans

Along with the Private and Public sector clients, digital advans have proven to be a big hit with Charities.

Cancer Research UK set up their stall in the heart of the West End with a digital advan positioned in key high footfall areas of Covent Garden and Leicester Square.

Meanwhile rock band U2's chosen charity One.org placed a couple of digital advans outside each of the main UK venues they played in 2009 including Wembley, The Millennium Stadium and Hampden Park.
